This collection was inspired by Covid lockdown when I became a crazy plant lady, propagating avocados and collecting various species of houseplants that have interesting variegated leaves. I wanted to create a collection of trinket dishes based on some of my favourite ones, Hoya, Philodendron and Syngonium.
Handcrafted in my studio in Bristol, this Syngonium trinket dish is perfect for storing things like jewellery and other bits and bobs, or just as a decorative piece by your bedside table. Made with jesmonite, an eco-friendly material that was originally created as an environmental alternative to cast concrete. Each piece is hand sanded and sealed, which makes for a stain and water resistant finish.
This Syngonium Red Spot trinket dish is a limited edition.
The handmade nature means there may be slight differences between those pictured and those received, this could be a slight variation in colour or pattern, a small difference in dimension or weight, and tiny air bubbles that might form as part of the production process. To me, these minor ‘imperfections’ are exactly what make these pieces perfectly unique, just as no two leaves in nature are the same.
10% profit from this collection will be donated to Woodland Trust to help plant more trees in the UK.
